Greetings longtime Playboy fans and hello new fans. I have been very busy since posing for Playboy in 1975, but I've never forgotten Playboy, the terrific readers and of course my dear fans. So as you can imagine, I'm thrilled to be back!
I spent my childhood in the rolling hills of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I was the oldest of four children, and my siblings are still living there. I had my sights set on a more nomadic life. So I decided to move to Williamstown, Massachusetts, where I worked and skied. Then I moved on to Lake Tahoe to pursue more skiing, and while I was there I started blackjack dealing at Harrah's Casino, where I was discovered by photographer Richard Fegley.
I was also a model for Harrah's, which was my first modeling
job. I did a lot of work for them. One project that I
can particularly recall was called "The Changing Face
of Gaming." I actually didn't like the whole gambling
scene, so during my off time I would do a lot of skiing
at Sierra Ski Ranch. I would swim in the lakes, where
I did a lot of my shoots with Peter Gowland. Peter was
pretty well-known and a well-respected photographer. He
always used to tell me that I was a real trooper because
the lake that we did a lot of our shoots at was always
frozen. I think he might have sent my pictures to Playboy,
for the part-time photographer, Sonny, who worked for
the public relations department at Harrah's, called me
and told me that Playboy had seen some of my pictures
and that they were interested in doing some test shots.
