Some past commercials that I have appeared in are: New
Freedom maxi pads (my first commercial), Ford trucks
(my second commercial), Sanka, Clairol, Sears, Marriott
Hotels, Sensodyne toothpaste, Close-Up toothpaste, Camay
soap, Ivory soap, Diet Coke, Kleenex, Lysol, Pine Sol,
Children's Panadol, Mennon Baby Magic Lotion, Old Spice,
Cadillac, Butter Flavored Pam, Dexatrim, Ban Clear deodorant,
First Response pregnancy tests, Kinney shoes, Pillsbury,
L'eggs pantyhose and Keri lotion, and I was the hostess
for Cinemax for a free movie weekend. There are hundreds
more that I have appeared in but those are some that come
to my mind. The commercial business was phenomenal in
the Eighties and early Nineties, but it really changed
in the mid-Nineties. So I consider myself very lucky to
have been a part of the commercial industry when it was
booming! It's a career that I enjoy, and it leaves me
time to pursue other interests.
When I first started working for Wilhelmina they sent
me to all of the top magazines. I ended up doing a lot
of work for Woman's Day. On my favorite trip I went to
Tortola, Virgin Gorda and Peter Island with three other
models. The best part of that trip was that we were photographed
just doing everyday things while we were vacationing there.
It was simply wonderful and very memorable.
My favorite commercial was when I was sent to Mexico. We shot in six different cities in 13 days, and we ended up making two commercials from that trip, plus it appeared in a lot of print advertising. That commercial was for the Mexican tourism board, and it was all over the TV. I was the girl telling you to come to Mexico for a great vacation. Some of the places that I have visited while working are Jamaica, Barbados, Aruba, Mexico, California and many more. |
