Just a few days later, my hot air balloon made a crash landing on the streets of St. Louis. I walked away with just a few cuts and bruises -- but once again we got the shot! While shooting my Centerfold in Los Angeles -- and at many other times -- I stayed at the Playboy Mansion. After a few visits, I decided that I preferred the quaint guesthouse to the sprawling Mansion. I thought the grounds were truly spectacular. I spent lots of time outdoors in the gardens and around the incredible stone pool. As an avid gardener, I was in heaven! To see unpublished photos from my Playmate pictorial, join the Playboy Cyber Club.

I have very fond memories of "slumber parties" with some of the other Playmates. It's amazing how much food we could consume so late at night! At that time the kitchen was open 24 hours; I seem to remember lots of fried shrimp and banana splits. How times have changed!

It was very interesting to meet Hugh Hefner; as you can imagine, he was very "entertaining" and hospitable! He truly does "thank God for little girls!" Movie nights at the
Mansion were lots of fun; guests included movie stars, sports figures, producers and directors -- lots of familiar faces. And, of course, the buffet was incredible. The Mansion was an almost surreal place to visit -- always a blast, but it was always good to get home.

After my issue was published in July, I started to travel a great deal for promotions. I went from coast to coast -- even to Nova Scotia. One of my most memorable trips was to Edmonton,
Canada. On my arrival there I was delayed in customs until the wee hours. The next day I attended a motorcycle show, where the leader of a well-known gang took a fancy to me and asked me to join him for the evening. I of course declined his invitation -- and that created huge problems. For the next three days, I was escorted to my hotel by guards who stood sentry outside my door!

I had a great time traveling and meeting people from all walks of life. I also became the spokesmodel for the Playboy clothing division along with Indy race car driver Kevin Cogan.
