I was born on June 1, 1972, in New Orleans, Louisiana. From the very beginning, I wanted to do things my own way. At three years old I would go to the pool and promptly remove my bathing suit (imagine that!). OK, so I was a nudist toddler! We moved to a small town outside of Atlanta when I was about 12 years old. From then on through high school, I moved back and forth between New Orleans and Atlanta, enjoying the best of both worlds. Atlanta had beautiful country and plenty of the humidity I'd grown to love in New Orleans. But the Big Easy is such a great town, with a lot of fascinating history. I didn't truly appreciate the city until I was older, though. As a kid, there's never a town with enough to do. But I've always loved the South. I love the flowers and the tropical climate. And my family still lives there, so I visit from LA as often as I can. It's really a trip back in time to go there.In junior high and high school, I tried many sports -- tennis, soccer, swimming and cheerleading. I learned to fish and we spent some time camping -- always was a big fan of the outdoors! After high school I went to West Georgia University to study journalism. Quickly disenchanted by the prospect of a journalist's salary, as well as the long hours of studying, I moved back to New Orleans to "find my path." I found instead a year-long party with some very fun friends. While visiting a few friends in Houston, I met a talent scout for Playboy who was also an amateur photographer. He asked if I wanted to pose for a fitness ad for World Gym. Being the shy girl that I am, I replied, "When do we shoot?" While shooting, he asked me if he could send my picture in to Playboy for a possible go as a Centerfold. Without much deliberation, I agreed. Two weeks later I received a call asking me to fly to Los Angeles for a test shoot! Never having been to LA was one thing, but now I was going to stay at the Playboy Mansion! Oh yea!
