This brown-haired, brown-skinned beauty is from Florianópolis – the ‘Island of Magic’ in local terms – a paradisiac city in Santa Catarina, on the southern coast of Brazil. Alana has been a working bikini model since she was fifteen, but this was her first time posing nude. “I’d never even taken my top off at the beach,” she says, laughing. “But I love being a Playmate.” Alana is a spokesmodel for her favorite soccer club, Avaí, and she was voted official Musa do Catarinense in their sponsored competition in 2009. She decided to submit her portfolio to Playboy, and three months later, she was Miss September 2012. Alana followed her dreams to Los Angeles, and she’s fielding offers, but she’s not interested in films or television. She wants to pursue her modeling career even further, and plans to submit herself for consideration in the Miss Brazil USA pageant.
