Play along with Amelia Talon, our Playmate of the Month for June 2012. A student from Seattle, Washington, she has long hair, brown eyes and a stunning figure, not unlike one of her character designs – she had wanted to study video game design, but ultimately decided to pursue a degree in business. “I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, so I love the outdoors,” she says, “but I’m a gamer, so I’m more of an indoor girl.” She loves Black Ops, Call of Duty and Silent Hill, but her all-time favorite game is Pokemon, and she spends Friday nights parked in front of her game console with a liter of soda. With looks like hers, it’s hard to believe, but Amelia was unpopular in high school. “I was an art student, and a little bit of a Goth,” she says, laughing. “I wore a trench coat and boots to school, and I actually had a bridge piercing.” 

Amelia was recruited by Playboy scouts, and she was featured as Coed of the Week in May 2011. Her pictorial was a hit, so we tested her for Playmate, and Hef approved her centerfold, taking her game to the next level. “I couldn’t believe it,” she says. “Being a Playmate was my dream. Playboy is a family, and I’m so proud to be a part of it.” Following her appointment as Miss June, Amelia moved to Costa Mesa, California, where she’s in hot pursuit of a successful modeling career. She spends her free time gaming, hanging with her friends at the Mansion, and driving her ’83 Camaro up the Pacific Coast Highway, and she’s taking her new life one day at a time. “I do cosplay, and being a model is not all that different,” she says. “I get to dress up every day. How cool is that?”
