Coed Denise King is a truly lovely lass. Blue-eyed, blonde-haired and fair-skinned – save for a drop of sun in each of her cheeks – she’s every bit the comely Irish beauty. “I grew up in Richmond, Virginia,” she explains. “It’s rural – there are a lot of horses – and it’s rich with history. I’ve been interested in the arts since I was a child. I trained for the theatre at VCU for four years, where I received a BFA in Performance. I also traveled abroad to Belgrade, Serbia and Herefordshire, England to receive further training.” And all of her hard work at school has paid off. “In 2010, four friends and I formed a film production company,” she says proudly. “We moved to Los Angeles, and are now working on and off screen pretty consistently.” “I started modeling with a small agency in college,” she says. “I didn’t know about Playboy until I saw Girls Next Door on TV. Then I knew that I wanted to be a Playboy model! Posing nude makes me feel confident.” In addition to her pictorial, Denise recently recorded a pilot for Playboy Radio. Her other interests range from painting and drawing to tennis and the flute, and weekends find her on the couch with her friends, playing video games and watching movies. “I’m very well-rounded,” she says contentedly. “And I’ve been in a relationship with the same guy for the last eight years. He’s truly my best friend, and I get to share all of my experiences with him.”
