You’re out of the woods with Kassie Lyn Logsdon, our Miss May 2010. She’s all natural, with long, dark brown hair, brown eyes and soft, sylphlike features. She comes from Lake Arrowhead, California, a small town in the San Bernardino Mountains, and she went to high school with another of our Playmates, a certain Heather Rae Young. “When Heather started working for Playboy,” she says, “she called me and asked if I wanted to be in a few of her pictorial candids. That’s me on the right in her Playmate of the Month set.” She turned down several of our offers before she agreed to pose for Special Editions, and after that, Kassie made the rounds in record time – she went from being an extra for Heather to being the May Centerfold in less than a month. “I couldn’t believe it,” she says. “The whole thing felt like a dream.” Before she shot her Centerfold, Kassie was working as a receptionist at an insurance company, and she quit her job to devote herself to Playboy full-time. “I was ready for a change,” she says, “and Playboy really changed my life. Now that I’m a model, I've traveled all over the country, and I’ve made so many new friends.” Speaking of friends, she fell right into the Playboy in-crowd, and hangs out with the other girls at Playboy Golf events and parties at the Mansion. Kassie lives in the mountains with her cats and a dog – a stone’s throw from Los Angeles – and spends her free time cooking, baking, painting and sculpting, and working on her line of handmade jewelry. If it sounds like the good life, that’s because it is – and if it’s all a dream, Kassie doesn’t want to wake up.
