Meet Amateur Lena Erickson, from Fort Myers, Florida. She’s tall – 5’8” – and her long blonde hair and green eyes nod to her Swedish and Norwegian heritage. “I grew up with my grandparents in Fort Myers,” she says. “I had a hard time growing up, but I learned to take care of myself. I’m going to be the first person to graduate from college in my family.” Lena is a part-time student in business administration, and she models on the side. “When I was fifteen, my grandmother put me in a modeling program,” she explains. “I ended up living in New York and abroad in Milan, and I was featured in the Italian edition of Marie Claire.” Playboy is a little different, but Lena’s family is supportive. “As long as I’m happy, they’re happy for me,” she says. “I’m proud to be a part of the Playboy family.” When she’s not at school or work, Lena spends time with her friends. “I was an athlete in high school, so I love sports,” she says. “With the girls, I go to the mall or the beach, but with the guys, I drink beer and watch the football game, or go mudding on four-wheelers.” When it comes to being more than friends, Lena knows what she wants, and she’d rather be in a relationship than have a one-night stand. “For me, it’s about sincerity,” she says. “Good looks only get you so far.”
