Heather Knox was Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for January 2012. A diehard Colts fan from Indianapolis, Heather was a cheerleader in high school. When she was 19 she used a fake ID to get into a Playboy event, but she wouldn’t be discovered for another seven years. She attended a casting call in Columbus, Ohio, and the casting agent liked her look and booked her for a test shoot. “A few weeks later she called me and told me that Hef had approved my test for Playmate,” she said. “I couldn’t believe it.”
Heather had never posed nude, but she felt comfortable working with veteran Playboy photographer Arny Freytag. “This is all new to me,” she said at the time, “but so far, it’s been better than I could ever have imagined.” The whole Playmate experience “makes my heart melt,” she told Playboy. “I’m determined to use this amazing opportunity to learn more about myself and my ultimate path.”
Heather Knox became a football expert while working as a waitress. “I learned the game for the benefit of my bank account,” she explained. “By understanding what was happening, I knew when not to interrupt a table of guys.” She proved to be a quick study and joined a fantasy football league. “My league is called ‘Show Me Your TDs.’ Say it fast and you’ll realize a guy came up with the name.” Heather has also developed her own call – ”Ay yi yi yi yi!” – that she unleashes whenever she attends Colts games so as to better distract the visiting team’s offense on the third down. After she revealed her love of football in Playboy, she said, “Fans send me messages asking how I feel about outcomes of games. I’m not shy about putting in my two cents.”
Heather gained some notoriety after she told Busted Coverage that she considered NFL quarterback Tim Tebow “a hottie” and joked that she’d like to take his virginity.
What does Heather looking for in a guy – aside from a shared love of football? “A manly man who is secure with himself, knows how to make me laugh, and is chivalrous!” she told Playboy. She’s not attracted to “egotistical meathead types.” Heather tends to be forward with the guys who catch her eye. “If I like what I see, I don’t hesitate to go over and talk to him,” she said. “There’s no better person to be but yourself.”
