Karen Foster, Playboy’s Miss October 1989, describes herself as “dedicated, intelligent, ambitious and family-oriented.” Born in Lufkin, Texas, she studied karate for seven years and competed in tournaments growing up. Foster was also an award-winning baton twirler. She graduated in the top 10 of her high school class and attended the University of Houston.
Karen was a cheerleader for the Houston Rockets and, later, the Houston Oilers. After appearing in Playboy she was featured in many Playboy videos and Special Editions. She shared her big ambitions with Playboy: “to accomplish all the goals I’ve ever set for myself and to never be sad or lonely.”
What turns Karen on? “Leather clothes, fast cars, traveling, and reading a good book.” She’s turned off by “waiting in lines, waking up early, cold weather, and rude drivers.”
