Lindsey Gayle Evans, Playboy’s Miss October 2009, introduced herself to us by saying, “I’m a former Miss Louisiana Teen USA, and I’m tired of being good. Are y’all interested?”
Lindsey grew up in Blanchard, Louisiana. A devoted member of her Baptist church—and a member of the choir—Lindsey was named Miss Teen Louisiana in 2008, but she didn’t hold the title for long. She pulled a dine-and-dash at a local restaurant, but forgot her purse on the table, which contained her wallet, identification, and enough weed to warrant a charge for possession. Lindsey ended up in the back of a cop car “bawling my eyes out,” she told Playboy.
She knew her arrest would make the news. “I said to myself, attitude adjustment time, girl. Fuck the crown. Turn the frown upside down and smile for that mug shot.” Lindsey took the bad press with a sense of humor, but she was stripped of her Miss Teen Louisiana title. “One night I found myself on the Playboy site,” she said, in a charming Southern accent. “I thought, why not?” At 19, she posed for the Centerfold.
Lindsey Gayle Evans now goes by the name Elle Evans. Her modeling career took off after she danced naked in Robin Thicke’s music video “Blurred Lines.” She has also appeared in Beyonce’s videos “Haunted” and “Superpower.” Elle Evans is one of the faces of NYX cosmetics, and has appeared on the cover of FHM France. In 2014, she guest-starred on Two and a Half Men.
“I want to go as far as I can with Playboy. I want to be the next Pamela Anderson. Why not? I’m a girl who likes to have a good time, just like she does. So let the good times roll: Laissez les bons temps rouler!” she said. “I’m going to get rich and famous, and then I’m going to settle down in a big old Louisiana plantation house.”
