Ellen Pompeo
Dr. Meredith Grey talks about her anatomy, dating older men, the pain of ending up on the cutting-room floor and why mean waitresses get the best tips
THE 21ST QUESTION:
On what other TV show would you most like to be aside from Grey's Anatomy?
POMPEO:
The Sopranos. I knew guys just like those characters. Maybe I'd play some crazy girlfriend of Tony's like the one Annabella Sciorra played. Even Dr. Melfi's pretty good. I could relate to Carmela or any of those girls. I so know those women; they were all around me as a child. But, oh my God, The Girls Next Door is my favorite show. It's the most entertaining show on television. After Grey's Anatomy ends, I probably wouldn't want to go right into another hour-long drama right away. It's grueling. Unless it was something amazing like an Aaron Sorkin series, you never know.
