Jaime Pressly
The sexy star of My Name Is Earl talks about her tomboy past, relives her days in hormone hell, explains why only pussies cheat (and why cheaters always get caught) and tells why she feels safest in a strip club
THE 21ST QUESTION:
You were an ambitious girl from a small town. How did your friends and neighbors in Kinston, North Carolina react to your dreams and the success that followed?
PRESSLY:
I had a lot of problems with the girls in general, and that's why I was friends with a lot of boys. Later, once my movie career got going and I was in Playboy -- remember, North Carolina is part of the Bible Belt in some areas -- plenty of people had stuff to say about that and thought it shed a bad light on this town. Other people were like, "Oh, yeah, that's great!" There's always going to be somebody that has something to say and when you're from a really small town, they love having something to talk about. Since then, though, the majority of people there turned around and I redeemed myself to the town, as well as the town has redeemed itself to me, I guess.
