This early sketch shows an earthier Morenn in a pensive mood. The final version better shows off her lithe delicate nature.
One of the fabled dryads of Brokilyon forest, Morenn is part of the Eeriewives, a females-only society. Extremely intelligent and aggressively flirtatious, they are known to kidnap human girls to raise as their own and to use their prisoners of war for breeding stock. As their lands have been encroached upon by nearby kingdoms, Eeriewives have become more militant in protecting their woods, and those who seek them out often receive a silent arrow to the neck for their trouble. Dryads don't give warning shots.
