Michelle McLaughlin, Playboy’s Miss February 2008, is from Redwood City, a small town in the Bay Area of Northern California. Before she found Playboy, Michelle was bored of her routine studying psychology at a local college and waiting tables at a café.
A fan of The Girls Next Door, she decided to take a chance and send Playboy her photos. The magazine’s editors took one look at Michelle and booked her for a test shoot in Los Angeles. After a few “Fresh Faces” pictorials, Playboy tested her as a Playmate, publisher Hugh Hefner approved her Centerfold, and she became Miss February 2008.
Michelle continues to work as a model. She eats well and loves running and yoga. When she’s not working, she spends the day at the beach with her friends. She left school to pursue her modeling career, but her long-term goal is to earn a master’s degree in psychology.
“I come from a very happy family,” said Michelle. “My mom was always home, cooking and baking, and my dad took me hunting, fishing, and camping.”
She loves baseball, and her favorite team is the San Francisco Giants. She even married one of the team’s retired outfielders—F.P. Santangelo. She and her husband split their time between Northern California and Washington, D.C., where he works as a TV announcer for the Washington Nationals baseball team. Michelle’s turn-ons include blue eyes, bubble baths, and baseball players. She’s turned off by selfish, undependable people.
