The Orange play in one of the nation's toughest conferences, and while they did win 21 games a year ago, they once again fell short of the NCAA Tournament. Outstanding coach Jim Boeheim returns four starters led by star guard Jonny Flynn, who thrives in Boeheim's uptempo offense. The big question is guard Eric Devendorf, who missed most of last season with a torn ligament in his knee. Paul Harris is a talented wing player who can score, but he must become a more complete player. Inside, the Orange need more productivity from six-foot-eight forward Kristof Ongenaet.
