With more colleges and universities in a 20-mile radius than any other city in America, Boston is more than a mere college town. It's a college mecca where, on any given night, thousands of cute coeds shirk their studies and drink enough to make a Kennedy proud. You don't need a statistics degree from nearby M.I.T. to know that the sheer number of beautiful college women is astounding. So increase your odds and stop by the Foggy Goggle, a new entry to Boston's bar scene that scores best with babes from B.U.

The Scene: Located on Boylston Street, an area renowned for its college bar scene, the Goggle draws a mix of students from nearby Boston University, Emerson, Harvard, Northeastern and Boston College. In an attempt to cater to a crowd that's hoping to raise its BAC a little closer to its GPA, the Goggle hosts a big party every night, with crowds packing each of the three small bars inside. Even the first night was a riot -- the grand opening in February 2004 celebrated the Patriot's Super Bowl victory. Inside, the layout caters to its sloshed clientele. Comic strip-style thought bubbles hang from the ceiling, elucidating the finer points of the drunken thought process, and painted murals immortalize celebrities such as Howard Stern. Dan Gladu, a landscape engineering major at Harvard, sums things up well: "Three words describe this place -- crazy, packed and drunken!"

The Chicks at the Bar: Despite the non-stop party, the Foggy Goggle's female clientele is the main attraction. Just ask Dan Vega, a senior communications major from Boston University. "The chicks at the Gog are all hot," he said. "They all want to rip it up, dude. This place is sweet!" Meeting girls here isn't difficult, since the large crowds guarantee you're always a few feet from a beautiful coed chilling with her friends. The soundtrack, with plenty of Guns N' Roses and AC/DC, should help get you fired up. And if the girls who came to drink aren't blowing your hair back, turn your attention to the beautiful ladies behind the bar. One of the bartenders, Nicole Amriault, wasn't kidding when she said, "We love to throw a party here!"

When to Go: Though you can also expect a fun crowd anytime a big game is on TV, "White Trash Wednesdays" are a sure bet. A tacky selection of '80s rock courses through the bar as bartenders adopt Coyote Ugly attitude -- they taunt bad tippers, mock anybody nursing a drink and funnel booze into willing partiers.

Dress Code: You don't have to worry about being underdressed or outclassed at the Foggy Goggle. Most of the customers will be sporting the standard T-shirt and jeans combo. Girls will probably be showing a little more skin than they do at school, but wearing club clothes might make you feel a bit overdressed.

At the Bar: Beyond the stereotypical college beverage (i.e. cheap domestic beer), the Foggy Goggle also offers a huge mixed concoction called the fishbowl, a massive drink served in a fishbowl and topped off with the bartender's choice of hard liquor. You could easily share one with any girl you meet at the bar. Talk about a serious icebreaker.
