here's a famous quote from Annie Hall: "Everything our parents told us was good is bad: sun, milk, red meat... college." From a strict parent's perspective, maybe that's true, but for plenty of students, college is that lovely place where boozing, having sex and experimenting with a combination of the two become a reality. At Boston University, one such student, 21-year-old Alecia Oleyourryk, had an obvious yet novel idea for a magazine: Take a bunch of her peers, get them naked in front of the camera and let them write about their sexcapades. She called it boink.

Described by the editors as porn (a first for a student-run publication), boink eventually found its way into the hands of fellow BU alum Howard Stern, who immediately endorsed it and invited Oleyourryk to be a guest on his show. "Within minutes of being on the radio, we got so many hits [on boink's site]," Oleyourryk says. And despite protests from religious groups and some students, the DIY mag quickly gained national attention.

With the release of the brand new retrospective boink: College Sex by the People Having It -- a collection of pictures, illustrations and stories from boink's first two years of publication -- Playboy.com talked with this college sexpert about everything a guy needs to know about getting lucky on campus, from how to turn on a coed to why girls get naked. Now, be quiet, gentlemen. Class is in session.

The C word

Scoring in college sometimes follows the well-worn equation of booze + keeping her attention + more booze = hookup. That is, sometimes. Oleyourryk has a more sober opinion on what gets modern coeds going. "Today more than ever it truly is confidence. Everybody likes to be a part of that someone who walks into a room and commands attention; and if you start dating someone like that, you join the spotlight with them." Still, some things never change. "I'm not dumb; I know it's looks," she admits with a laugh. "It doesn't matter how funny you are or how witty you are or how confident you are if a girl's not looking at you and paying attention to you."

Surefire strikeout

Displaying confidence is one thing, but getting a laugh at your buddy's expense is no way to get a college girl's attention. "Guys always think if they're making fun of someone that they're witty, and you're going to like them, but picking on the weak one is never a turn-on," Oleyourrk says. "It's such a mixed message, too, because people still laugh." So even if the cutie you're hitting on is cracking up at your jokes, be warned that she might be doing it out of routine -- and is probably eyeballing someone else when you're not looking.

Naked fun

You don't need to start your own "porn mag" like Oleyourrk to get a girl naked. Just give her a reason. "Some people want to show off and some people want to learn about themselves and some people want to piss off their parents... and some people want to piss off their ex-boyfriend," she says. Whatever the motive, college students love stripping off those annoying clothes. Try hosting a naked party (a campus fave, which, to our delight, has a Wikipedia entry), or just plan a good old-fashioned game of strip poker. Believe us: You won't look like as much of a pervert as you think you will.

Mind the gender gap

After a hookup, the cliché is that girls endure a walk of shame while guys garner friends' compliments. And according to Oleyourrk, that cliché is alive and well on modern campuses. "I try to be so open minded, but if I were sitting with a group of people and some guy said, 'I've slept with 35 chicks,' I wouldn't really think much of it. And if some girl said, 'I've slept with 35 guys,' I'd think she was a slut."

Discard your V-card

We all know that guy freshman year who constantly brags in the cafeteria about how many women he's slept with. Don't be that guy. Chances are the only play he's getting is from his Xbox. Oleyourrk says college girls are looking for guys who are content. (Her biggest surprise with the mag was receiving "a lot of submissions from virgins," and we're talking graphic stuff here.) Sounding off about past conquests doesn't exactly exude self-esteem.

Pickup with style

Taking a look at the dudes photographed getting lucky in the pages of boink, there really isn't a style trend. One's (at first) wearing a tie-dyed tee and glasses, and two of the others look like button-down and sporty types. So what's their fashion secret? Not trying too hard, according to Oleyourrk. Projecting a "feel that is really comfortable" is all you need. Trucker hats, though perhaps comfortable, don't apply.

The awful truth

"There's this trend of women owning their sexuality and starting to sleep around in the same way that guys do," Oleyourrk says with an air of optimism. On the other hand, she laments that there are still a lot of girls who think "guys will like them if they have sex with them. It's awful but it's true. She thinks, like [in a girlie voice], 'If he has sex with me, he really likes me.'"
