In addition to the new standard Q3 update, the legendary designers at Audi have put together an exciting off-shoot, concept theme vehicle called the Q3 Vail. With a name that honors one of the holy grails of powder in the US, the Vail is a welcome alternative to a regular 4x4.
Competing in a class more associated with the Range Rover line, the sleek and sexy design exudes both power and luxury. Coupled with a paint scheme specifically engineered for this vehicle (Energy Red), massive 255/45 off-road tires and discreet rack mounted LED headlights: the Vail is a winter sports fan's dream. Amongst features such as the Nappa leather-lined cabin, the Vail includes plug-in's for flashlights in the back that double as boot warmers, cup holders that will warm or cool your drinks through induction technology, and a powerful 5-cylinder to get you onto the slopes. This custom engine generates 314 hp which powers the Vail's AWD, seven-speed S tronic transmission system, taking you from 0-60 in just 5.5 seconds.
The Playboy Stats:
ENGINE: 2.5-Liter TFSI Five-cylinder turbo
HORSES: 314 hp
TOP SPEED: 163 mph
RAD FEATURE: Built-in, inductive drink warmer
Technical details are still up in the air, but we are hoping to see the Vail in time for next season.
