Playmate Mei Ling's new food column is here!
Valentine’s Day is long gone. You got her the chocolates, the flowers, and maybe even took her out for dinner. You made sure she felt special that one day out of the whole year because you felt like you had to. But wouldn’t you like to make that special someone feel like the most important woman in the world more often than one day out of the whole year? Think of all of the sexy perks that come along with it! Don’t be shy, we all you know you want it.
It’s the little things that you can do for us women that make us feel sexy and know that we are appreciated. Of course in return, we will show you our gratitude. That’s how relationships work. It’s a balancing act!
Let’s start off with being in the kitchen. There is nothing sexier than a man who can cook! A man who knows how to kick off the day with an amazing breakfast or knows how to put a delicious rub on his meat (get your head out of the gutter), are greatly treasured. If you’re not the best at cooking, girls even appreciate a man who would take the time to make a Duncan Hines cake for his love. Who wouldn’t?
Don’t wait for a holiday to show how romantic you can be or how much your care for that special someone. Treat her on a daily basis by doing small things just to show you care. Do you know what her favorite breakfast food is? Take an extra few minutes to get up and surprise her with her favorite meal in bed. You may be surprised as to what she wants for dessert afterwards. Does she love Dove Chocolates or Swedish Fish? Come home with a bag! That will show you thought of her and she will appreciate it. Again, you will be rewarded one way or another, I’m sure!
Come time for dinner, it gets me excited just thinking about cooking alongside that special someone. You’re cooking with love and that is the most important ingredient! If you’re cooking dinner at home, don’t forget to serve her favorite wine or choice of beverage to get those juices flowing.
Step up your romantic side gentlemen and show her how you can throw down in the kitchen and serve her every once in a while! In return, she will show you how she is more than capable of throwing down in the bedroom, if you know what I mean.
Here are two recipes that are quick and easy that will surely make her feel special.
