Exclusive Sexy Evil Genuis Clip with Michelle Trachtenberg

Gonna be straight-up here: deep down, we’re a little nerdy. In that vein, we’d like to introduce you to something called crossover, a phenomenon that occurs in the world of fanfic—that’s fictional literature based on a TV series or film, written by the hardest of hardcore fans—when a character from one fandom makes an appearance in the world of another. When this happens, it’s really exciting. And in the case of hot, powerful female characters from heavyweight sci-fi series of yore, it’s really sexy, too. So when we’re charged with throwing something like that out into the world for the first time, we have to explain just how juicy it is for us.

This isn’t your typical crossover. The girls aren’t in character at all, but if there’s one thing we’re capable of, it’s playing pretend. So here’s the setup: Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica (Katee Sackhoff) and Dawn from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Michelle Trachtenberg) are having a secret, sexy rendezvous. It’s dark except for some stray candlelight, they’re by a pool, at least one of them is in a bikini and, if you’re familiar with the Wild Things formula, there might be a little girl-on-girl action to be had.

Set up like a darker, sexier version of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World in reverse, Sexy Evil Genius finds a group of seeming strangers (Trachtenberg among them) brought together in a dark and moody Los Angeles bar by the one thing they share: a conniving ex-girlfriend (Sackhoff) they’d all rather leave in the past. Details are otherwise scant, but the trailer hints at drugs, crime and murder, with sexy results. We’d witness that.
