This week we're sitting down with Tawny Swain, an all-natural redhead from Georgia, to talk about being a Playboy Cybergirl, her taste in men and more. Read on to find out all about this fiery-haired beauty.
Playboy.com: How did you get started posing for Playboy.com?
Tawny: One of Playboy’s photographers, Jose Luis, found my portfolio online and asked me if I wanted to shoot. I immediately said yes without hesitation. It was totally unexpected, which I think was the best part.
Playboy.com: What unique things do you bring to Playboy.com?
Tawny: I’ve been modeling since I very young. I’ve pretty much been in the entertainment industry my whole life, so it’s cool to bring my experiences to the table!
Playboy.com: Which physical feature do you most often get complimented on?
Tawny: My hair and my legs! I’ve never dyed my hair—I’m a natural redhead—and I exercise a lot, so I never skip leg day!
Playboy.com: Do you have a favorite behind-the-scenes story from a photo shoot?
Tawny: I was recently at a shoot in Dallas and I got to shoot with another beautiful model. We were doing a pillow fight–themed shoot and I guess we were both really in the moment and we kissed! It was completely friendly but it was a lot of fun.
Playboy.com: Aside from modeling, what are you focusing on these days?
Tawny: I like to put most of my focus into my modeling because it’s my passion! However, I really love music and I am also a musician and an actress. I’m currently working on an album and a couple movie and TV projects!
Playboy.com: On an average Saturday night, what are you doing?
Tawny: I really enjoy cooking, reading and blogging. My work requires a lot of travel so I really like to cherish my time at home. Saturday nights typically consist of bubble baths, meditation, tea, reading and classical music.
Playboy.com: What’s your idea of the perfect date?
Tawny: Home-cooked dinner and wine and movies with lots of candles.
Playboy.com: When do you feel sexiest?
Tawny: I feel sexiest when I’m wearing a fabulous pair of high heels. Nothing boosts confidence like some long legs!
Playboy.com: What’s one thing you think all men should know?
Tawny: All men should know how to cook a mean steak and how to buy lingerie for their woman.
Playboy.com: What qualities drive you wild in a man?
Tawny: I love a guy who is easygoing and down for anything. I’m a Gemini, the twin sign. Sometimes I really want to stay in and cuddle and sometimes I want to go out and party, so it’s important for a man to keep up. Thoughtfulness is a big plus too. I love being reminded I’m special, even if it’s something simple like waking me up with a cup of coffee.
Playboy.com: How do we win your heart?
Tawny: I love surprises. Something original when I least expect it will win me over.
Playboy.com: What’s the best date you’ve ever been on?
Tawny: The best date I’ve ever been on is when a guy took me to a Falcons game. We tailgated in a giant tour bus and our seats were five rows away from the field!
Playboy.com: The worst?
Tawny: The worst date I have ever been on is when a guy took me to a really nice hibachi dinner. After dinner we walked around the terrace near the restaurant and the guy took his clothes off and jumped in a fountain! It was too weird!
Playboy.com: If you could go on a date with one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
Tawny: Bruce Willis from the early Die Hard movies. What girl doesn’t like a man who kicks ass?
Playboy.com: What would your fans be surprised to know about you?
Tawny: I love conspiracy documentaries. I also collect vinyl records. Music sounds so much better on a record player.
