Fall Fashion: Floral

In the sea of plaid and stripes, florals are a bit of an underrated trend for menswear. This is mostly due to the fact that floral patterns are unfairly tainted by misconceptions of femininity and memories of cheesy ’70s porno.

If you fall victim to these dated beliefs, it's time to press on the pedals for some petals. Pun intended.

Florals have blossomed all over the stylish streets of Milan, particularly in Pitti Uomo, which dashing dandies, like menswear luminary Nick Wooster and his contemporaries, frequent. Because these iconic men have truly masculinized and made floral patterns their own, the trend has continued to evolve in colors, textures and fabrics that are much darker and more subdued, appropriate for the coming fall/winter seasons.

Brands, from the high-end (Prada, Dries Van Noten, Gucci) to the more affordable (FCUK, Club Monaco, Zara, H&M), are making it more accessible than ever to own a piece of this growing trend. So instead of a bouquet, you may want to show up to your next date or rendezvous with flowers of your own.

Once again Yevgenia Diordiychuk proves she is the most enchanting woman on the planet. She is a sure fire candidate for a hot pictorial or centerfold in your magazine.
