Our very own Gamer Next Door Playmate Pamela Horton donned
her warmest clothes for Reykjavík, Iceland to check out CCP Fanfest 2013. This
wasn’t just another celebration of the massive virtual world of EVE Online; it
just happened to be their ten-year anniversary. And Pamela couldn’t say no to
taking a look at this year’s lineup where everything was definitely bigger and
bolder.
Between chatting with David Reid, CMO of CCP Games, about what’s in store for the coming years, getting a chance to test out the upcoming Dust 514 and taking part in a little virtual reality with the yet-to-be-released Oculus Rift, Pamela couldn’t get enough of the event. And of course, the event couldn’t get enough of Pamela.
As one avid fan said, “It’s Fanfest! What’s not to like?” We think this is an apt summary.
