Crystal says goodbye to the West Coast with an unforgettable night out at the Palms.
Pulling up to the Palms last Saturday afternoon, I knew a great weekend was in store. I checked in, dropped my bags off and in a record 10 minutes made it down to the Playboy cabana to take in the blazing Vegas sun with my girls (above) and cool off poolside with a few frozen mango margaritas.
For those of you who don’t know, Playmate Takeover at the Palms (my reason for playing in Vegas last weekend) is basically an excuse for five girls to suit up in their Bunny outfits, sign and pose for a gazillion fans, then dance the night away until standing almost isn't possible, which usually calls for an embarrassing amount of room service afterward.
And “takeover” we did. After an insanely delicious dinner at Nove Italiano (their truffle ravioli is daaangerous), I headed to the Playboy Club with my Playmate party co-hosts (Hiromi, Pilar, Shanna and Christine) where we joined a roomful of Bunny waitresses and Bunny blackjack dealers to kick off the night.
The Club at the Palms is one of those surreal spaces where you just sort of forget about everything else going on in the real world. Between the deejaying and the fan love, and getting to hang out with all my Playmate sisters and friends, I couldn’t have asked for a better Saturday night.
Cali Swag District's "Teach Me How to Dougie" really got the crowd grinding moving, and I had to download it on my iPod the next day--such a good one!
Looking back on my September, I'm amazed I've been able to keep my work, friends and family life afloat. I've lived it up at the Bunny House and the Mansion and the Playboy Club in Vegas, all while working non-stop (that's me on the right, in Jersey last week for a lingerie shoot), and flying from coast to coast for modeling. I’m back in Chi-town now though and am finally catching up on my R&R...when I'm not getting my nightlife on, of course!
A shout-out to all the stars of NBC’s The Playboy Club, which my girls and I watched with perked Bunny ears during Monday’s premiere. And in the spirit of all things Playboy in the 1960s, I thought I’d leave you guys with this extra-special photo I dug up in Hef’s scrapbook last week at the Mansion. Yep, that’s my mom: Miss August 1968 Gale Olsen (see the resemblance?).
