Head Over Heels: Men's Spring Shoes

By Playboy.com Staff

Spring style has never been so sexy. Never.

The air’s getting warmer and we like it. With the promise of a hotter season on the wind, we’ve been in a fuss over the coming influx of all things spring. This time of year is a fevered one, and if you want to ensure you’ve got someone to share your fever with, we guarantee you’ll need to look as fresh as that breeze feels. Sex appeal starts from the ground up, so our friends at Giorgio Brutini and GBX helped us throw together a visual guide to shoes that’ll help put an extra spring in your step.

{“pbembedwidget”:“gallery”,“id”:“13704”,“size”:“large”,“alignment”:“left”} For a look as fresh as the new grass, there are three styles to check in on this spring.

First things first, who cares about a pair of Oxfords with colored soles? We do. And she does. Add some flash to that spring when you’re stepping out on the weekend with a pair of Oxfords that’s got a sole as exciting as its hide.

Next up: boat shoes, or loafers as generations past might know them, have been experiencing a graduated rebirth over the last few years. A few seasons ago, they were strobing with neon soles, but we prefer a more classic and relaxed look this time around.

Finally, for straight-up dress shoes, check out a subtle brogue and not-too-narrow pair in leather with luster. It’s good to get fancy, but you don’t always need patent leather and wingtips to fly.
