Playmate Heather Rae Young revved up last month's Willie Nelson's Country Throwdown Tour stop in Pozo, California, where the country legend teamed up with Harley-Davidson for a day of bikes and the best country music.
Heather knows a thing or two about Harleys, and hopes to one day own her own. At the event, Miss February 2010 took advantage of every opportunity to check out the bikes and learn about the selection of Harleys on display, including the new Blackline, part of H-D's Dark Custom lineup. Heather's favorite, though, was the Sportster 48 model.
"It’s the one that fit me best," she said. "That’s the one I actually shot with in the pictures. I’m hoping I can get a bike and if I can, I want that one. But I’d customize it and make it white, make it my own. That one’s definitely my favorite."
The Throwdown was held at the historic Pozo Saloon, about 40 miles inland from the Central Coast of California, which has been in business since 1858. When Heather wasn't walking around, signing autographs or posing with riders and their bikes, she got some seat time on Harley's stationary riding motorcycle, JUMPSTART.
"It was a fun atmosphere, the music was great and everyone was super friendly," Heather said. "I had a great time. I love being around people like that. Their passion is riding and I’m interested in that."
