How to: Baste a Turkey

We did it, guys! We’ve finally gotten through all of summer’s extreme body workouts and we’ve slipped into those few glorious weeks of total body annihilation. If the Epic Meal Time and video was any hint as to what lies ahead for the holidays of 2013, we’re definitely going to have to ask for some sort of workout system for Christmas … But that is something a future us will have to deal with. Now’s the time for indulgence!

To kick things off, we’ve got the beautiful Cybergirl Taylor Seinturier to show you just how to baste your turkey so it turns out as moist and succulent as we know you like it. If you follow these four easy steps, you’re sure to have a mouth-watering holiday dinner centerpiece fit for any gathering.


Step One: The ideal time to first baste a turkey is 30 to 45 minutes before the turkey is done.

Step Two: Using the baster, coat the skin with the turkey’s juices. Make sure to distribute the liquid equally so the turkey will cook evenly.

Step Three: Once the turkey is completely covered you can place it back into the oven. If the turkey begins to brown too quickly, you can cover it with foil.

Step Four: Resist the urge to re-baste the turkey. You and your guests will be rewarded with a flavorful, orgasmic main dish.
