If there was one good reason to watch last night’s premiere of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, it was contestant Brande Roderick. The 2001 Playmate of the Year has come a long way since she first appeared nude in the pages of Playboy.
Brande has gone on to star in Baywatch and make appearances in movies like Starsky & Hutch, Dracula
II and The Nanny Diaries. Somehow
in all of this she has managed to continue modeling, pen a self-help book and
start a production company.

Last night’s Celebrity
Apprentice had Brande voted in as her team’s (Team Power) first project
manager. Team Power and Team Plan B were then pitted against each other in a
meatball-making fundraiser. Though we will give kudos to Team Plan B’s name for
their meatballs, “Naked Balls with Harry Sauce,” we were saddened when Brande’s
team didn’t win. But they still managed to raise over $200,000 for
charity, with one donation hand-delivered by a Playmate dressed in the official
Bunny suit.
Interestingly enough, seven of the fourteen contestants have an affiliation with Playboy, making this season’s Celebrity Apprentice the season of Playboy!
A few of the other cast members include La Toya Jackson, who shot with Playboy Magazine in 1989; Lisa Rinna, who graced Playboy’s pages in 2009; Lil Jon, who has appeared on Playboy TV’s Beach House; and Penn Jillette, a Playboy Radio guest. The contestants with one degree of separation include: Trace Adkins, whose hit music video “This Ain’t No Love Song” features our very own Jaime Edmondson, and Dennis Rodman, who was married to three-time Playboy cover model Carmen Electra.
