For a company whose wares are by and large hawked to and used by men, Axe sure has managed to work an awful lot of scantily clad women into their sex sells style of marketing. A mere observation; certainly not a complaint.
For their efforts they’ve been awarded 10 Cannes Lions Advertising Awards and have a more than sizeable social media following (4.1 million Facebook fans, 28 million-plus Youtube views). And their latest campaign, supposedly toned down to appeal to both sexes, might be their cleverest yet:
