Before Kate Upton there was Pamela Anderson; she sold shit better than anybody.

It’s hardly surprising that Pamela Anderson would find her way into a feature highlighting the sexiest sales pitches of the past and present. Her work, namely a mastery of the art of slow-motion movement through liquid, has been a staple of several campaigns, selling everything from beer to Sirius satellite radio to weird Brazilian potato sticks.

In many ways, she’s come full circle: her rise to fame started when she was caught on camera at a B.C. Lions game hawking Labatt Blue and the calls came pouring in. Every Canadian with two eyes was momentarily distracted from their version of the American game when they caught a glimpse of the then-unknown but illustrious blonde. She quickly became the face of the brew, plastered as a poster in college dorms everywhere.

The rest is, well…history: She moved to L.A., made her way onto our pages (several times) and starred as the sex symbol of the ’90s, Miss C.J. Parker on Baywatch. Her support of PETA is well-known (or maybe the inverse is true; PETA iswell-known because of her support, regularly posing nude for their cause).

But the reason we’re recalling Pamela on this particular occasion is due to the recent stir in Australia and Britain, where a certain advertisement (featuring, what else, the buxom blonde bathing in milk…in slow motion) has been banned from the airwaves. The ad (by yet another domain name company, capitalizing on the sex sells mantra) is below, along with several others that have Ms. Anderson’s full range of motion on display:
