What’s better than one gorgeous, sexy Playboy Playmate? Two identical Playboy Playmates!

The Playboy centerfold represents the crème de la crème of womankind, the pinnacle of the female form—they’re chosen by Hef himself, not just for their looks but to embody the very essence of the Playboy lifestyle. The striking beauties who’ve graced the pages of Playboy are incomparable. Except…when identical twins have shared the centerfold. In this Playboy Retro, we’re looking back at the Playmates who were twice as nice. It’s time to double your pleasure and double your fun with this selection of titillating twins.

It wasn't until Playboy’s third decade that readers first rubbed their eyes in disbelief at a double vision of sublime sexiness when they turned to the pinup. The Miss Octobers of 1970, Madeleine and Mary Collinson, were 18-year-old fashion models from Malta who moved to swinging London to conquer that dazzling city. They came to the attention of Playboy and flew to Chicago to make history by appearing together for their shoot. These two brunettes are eternally famous for their Playboy milestone, but they’re also known for starring in 1971’s Twins of Evil , a schlocky vampire flick that showed off the girls’ many assets (along with their acting talents). See for yourself why these ladies were the hits of the ’70s.

Either Mirjam van Breeschooten or Karin van Breeschooten, with their blue eyes, blonde hair, generous busts and fine Nordic features, would turn heads just on her own. But team them up and you change the course of history. They were the Playmates of the Month for September 1989, posing side by side for a sensual, dreamy shoot. It’s true that they’re identical twin sisters, but you can tell them apart: Karin is the one with beauty spot near her mouth.

Where to begin with the Barbi twins? The two tall, blonde, busty beach babes, Shane and Sia Barbi, were everywhere in the early ’90s, from modeling for the biggest brands to starring as action characters in the comic book Barbi Twins Adventures. They caught the eye of Hugh Hefner, who commissioned a special pictorial and put them on the cover of Playboy in 1991. The issue broke sales records and Hef brought them back for another sellout cover and photo shoot in ’93. Come on, it’s not too early to get nostalgic for the ’90s. It’s time for Barbi Mania to break out all over again.

Be careful, the gallery above has twice your recommended daily dose of ravishing Playboy models, but they’re so enticing we’re confident you won’t overdose on glamour.
