If there’s one cute blonde who’s managed to channel her sexual energy into each and every role she has under her name, the distinction would go to the spunky Anna Faris. Hailing from Maryland, Faris got her dramatic start acting in stage productions of To Kill a Mockingbird and Arthur Miller’s Danger: Memory!
After getting in front of cameras in a frozen yogurt commercial, Faris went on to study English literature at the University of Washington. Faris’ first real film break came with the independent sex slasher film Lovers Lane, followed by the first installment of the Scary Movie horror-spoof franchise which she has been lead actress for since.
Persuasive Tongue Action – Just Friends
Television audiences got their first dose of the quirky Faris when she joined the final season of the hit NBC comedy Friends as the expecting mother Erica, whose twins couple Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Monica (Courtney Cox) adopt in the series finale. This pairing was quite ironic as Faris’ Scary Movie franchise was a continual spoof of Cox’s Scream films.
Anna Faris’ Booty Shorts
Throughout the 2000s, Faris became widely known for her comedy roles which included The Hot Chick, Waiting, Just Friends and My Super Ex-Girlfriend. In 2008, Faris took on the role of Shelley Darlington in The House Bunny, playing a Playmate who is kicked out of the Playboy Mansion through a note apparently written by Hugh Hefner, though it turns out to be from a rival Bunny. Too bad she didn’t remember the motto of “Once a Playmate, always a Playmate” — and Hef wouldn’t break up by letter!
