From the delicious to just plain weird, the Late Night Foodie brings us the round up of what's going on in the world of food.

With drive-thru cafes in Texas, Washington, Florida and one soon in New Jersey, Baristas Coffee serves up hot coffee with a hotter side of lingerie clad women. Earlier this year there was talk of a reality show for the girls who work at Baristas, so we are keeping our fingers crossed the franchise will spread to other cities in America. Who would'nt want to start the day off being served their morning coffee by these women?

If you knew that eating meat artificially made in a lab would help save the environment, would you eat more of it? Researchers hope to serve up the first  batch of stem cell generated hamburgers later this year for the price of $330, 000 a patty. If it does work, scientists hope to improve the process and eventually mass produce affordable, artificial meat products like beef, pork, chicken and lamb. While we commend the scientists for this giant feat, it still of reminds us of Soylent Green.

A new study has shown that when it comes to the wine list, consumers are prone to choosing a harder to pronounce bottle in hopes of looking well versed. Researchers gave three groups the same bottle of Chardonnay but changed the name and  label for the taste test. When it came time to rate the bottle, the harder to pronounce fictional wineries (which were more expensive) rated the highest despite the fact they were all the same. So next time you're sweating when the wine list is passed to you, stick with what you know. The full story will appear in Decanter next week.

If you didn't think the McRib sandwich could get any more glorious, the sandwich scientists in Austria have introduced a sandwich called the "McRibster" to their local menus. It's basically their call back to the ever popular KFC Double Down. The McRib patty is breaded then deep fried and layered with bacon, cheese, spicy-sweet chili mayonnaise and vegetables. This sandwich may never see the light of day in America, but we can always band together and start a viral campaign to bring this sandwich to our stores.
