From the delicious to just plain weird, Playboy.com’s Late Night Foodie brings the Valentine's round up of what’s going on in the world of food.

Food Dare

Italian may be seen as a language of love, but don’t think for a second your amore will appreciate a heart shaped pizza for Valentine’s Day dinner. With “heart-shaped pizzas” being searched on Google upwards of 230 per cent since January, companies like Pizza Pizza, Papa John’s, Chicago chain Lou Malnati's and Boston Pizza are anticipating higher sales numbers than last year. Papa John’s sold approximately 60,000 in 2011 and are anticipating an increase of 15,000. Let’s hope that those 75,000 girlfriends all have a good sense of humor.

VIP Dinners

In what we’re only assuming is a PR stunt for their new $10 Dinner Box, Pizza Hut is reaching out to help set the perfect atmosphere for your wife-to-be on Valentine’s Day for a cool 10,010 dollars. “Inspired” by their newest delivery item, the "proposal package" includes a ruby red engagement ring (so your wife can think of The Hut every time she flashes her ring and has to tell the story of your proposal), limo service, flowers, fireworks, a photographer, a videographer and, of course, the $10 Dinner Box.  “If we’re able to fit pizza, breadsticks and dessert into one box for only $10, why stop there?” asked Kurt Kane, Pizza Hut CMO. “Our customers want the best of everything, from their food to memorable life experiences. So we decided to make one of those experiences – the marriage proposal – second-to-none.”

Burger Radar

It’s hard to believe, but White Castle has been serving up their famous miniature burgers by candlelight on February 14th for 21 years. Couples who dine in are able to purchase special Valentine’s Day bundles, enjoy a free dessert (fudge-dipped cheesecake on a stick) and a complimentary photo that will be posted publicly on the White Castle website after the event. You probably will have a hard time getting reservations (seriously) so if your girlfriend prefers waffles over sliders, you’re also in luck. The Waffle House is back for its fifth year of serving their cheap breakfast delicacies by candlelight and on a white tablecloth. At least if your lady friend ditches you when you pull into the parking lot,  you will already be in the perfect place to eat your feelings.

Suds ‘n Grub

If you’re feeling adventurous, or don’t mind if your relationship lasts halfway through dinner, Hooters is inviting its customers to join them for Valentine’s Day. There’s not much you can really say about this one, so we’ve provided a video of some hot Hooter girls to do the explaining.
