What was your first Playboy?

Sal: I can’t remember my first, but I remember the first one I ever saw. I must have been like 8 years old. One day while I was hanging out with my cousin Domenic he told me his neighbor was going on vacation and gave him the job of taking care of his cats. I was thrilled, I love animals! I begged him until he agreed to let me help the next day. My mom dropped me off at Dom's house and we walked over to his neighbor’s house to feed them. We open the door and all looked completely normal. We whipped out the Purina and were about to leave when all of a sudden Dom says "Hey Sal, wanna go into his bedroom?" We walked inside the room and it was super swank. I remember thinking it looked nothing like my parents’ bedroom. Juvenile curiosity kicked in and we opened his bedroom closet. Immediately a remote controlled vagina fell from the top shelf on to my head and then hit the floor, turned on and started opening and closing like a mouth. We started screaming and laughing. Then we saw the boxes. Inside were piles and piles and piles and piles of Playboys! We sat around and just kept looking through them kind of amazed. Let's just say that day I began to love more than just pussy cats.

What albums or songs are on your tour playlist?

Matt: AC/DC, Audioslave, Katy Perry, Gotye.

Who is your favorite playmate?

Sal: I'm a classy kind of guy, so I'd definitely have to go back to 1953 with Marilyn Monroe. CLASSIC!

Doug:  My favorite Playmate is still Pam Anderson. She rocked it back then and she’s still kicking ass today!

Talk a bit about your new tour with Nickelback and what it’s like to be opening for them.

Matt: It's going to be fun. I have been friends with the guys for a while but have never got to tour with them. I have seen their show and it’s amazing, it is a dream come true to be on this tour.

Doug: The new tour with Nickelback is going to be nothing short of amazing. These guys are a great bunch of dudes from the same place that we are from. The tour is massive and we are very blessed to have the chance to tour with these guys! We are the opening band so the pressure is on as we need to show these guys that we are worthy of the opening slot which is why My Darkest Days rehearses for 8-10 hours every day. We definitely can’t wait to hit the road with Nickelback; it's truly a blessing and an honor to be a part of the 2012 tour.
