Miss April 2005 Courtney Culkin debunks the biggest sex myths. This week: Does Size Matter?

Evidence abounds that sex rumors spread like wildfire when not carefully culled. Take for example the time-honored tall tale that masturbation will make you go blind: clearly the work of some overzealous puritans seeking to curb the sexual curiosity of young men straying too far from the church, but totally false. Yet today, that myth, along with some silly nonsense about hairy palms, still rings out in school yards across America.

We here at Playboy look to end all that and save you from having a Google search history loaded with altogether odd and off-the-wall questions. With the help of Miss April 2005 Courtney Culkin, Up in Smoke has embarked on a mission to categorically debunk a flurry of infamous sex myths. Today we’re tackling:

Why Is It Called “Blue Balls”?

The term blue balls most commonly arises when frat boys complain of a woman turning them on only to leave them in the lurch. But it is an actual medical condition which some studies say deserves further investigation. But Miss April 2005 recommends taking the matter into your own hands…

Does Penis Size Matter?

This is perhaps the ultimate sex myth, one that has been broken down, built up and generally made to be a bigger (pun intended) deal than it is. It turns out that a few simple catchphrases can really clear it all up: it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog. Or: it’s not the size of the wave, it’s the motion of the ocean.

Do Women Like Porn?

At some point, porn became a four-letter word for the fun police, a dirty little habit shared among men aged 13 to 65 and certainly not appealing to members of the opposite, fairer sex. But studies have shown that women are just as “into porn” and aroused by erotica as men. Men just happen to be more obnoxious about it.
