Up in Smoke: More Sex During the Holidays

Maybe it’s the extra shot of rum in the eggnog, or maybe it’s because your girl has strategically placed the mistletoe over the showerhead; people seem to get it on more during the holidays than any other time of the year. In fact, according to some scientists, they believe it’s because December 11th is the most fertile day of the year, making our bodies more in tune with our primal urges. Others believe it’s because more couples are staying in around the holidays to save cash and students are celebrating the end of their school terms by jumping in the sack with each other.

Luckily, there’s also a peak of condom sales around Christmastime too, which means couples aren’t receiving a belated Christmas “gift” the following year.

Whatever the cause, we’re happy that you’re all getting it on with each other. Nothing alleviates stress better than having sex, and we’re sure those additional family members who decided to tag along and celebrate the holidays at your place aren’t helping with that. It’s also a great time to get creative in the bedroom, or lack thereof if you’ve been banished to the couch to accommodate guests. Quickie in the shower, anyone?
