Whether you’re cruising around the world to pick up exotic chicks or you’re making the best of the single life, traveling solo is one of the most rewarding and exciting ways to see the world. Since you don’t have to worry about pleasing a second party, the sky is the limit on your time off. Here are a few travel tours that ditch the normal singles’ vacation.

Hedonism Resorts, Jamaica

“Sleep in. Stay up late. Give up counting calories. Have a drink before noon. Give up mineral water. Dine in shorts. Talk to strangers. Don’t make your bed. Go skinny-dipping. Don’t call your mother. Let your hair down. Don’t pay for anything. Don’t leave a tip. Be your beautiful self in spectacular Negril, Jamaica.” I’m not sure if there is any more I could say about Hedonism that would sell this exclusive resort to you any better since this place is obviously a singles’ paradise. When I asked around for the best single vacation spots, everyone suggested Hedonism Resorts as their first choice. The weather is gorgeous, the women are beautiful and they have a very strict no-tipping policy so you don’t have to worry about common courtesies while you’re binging on lust, sloth and whatever other sins you get yourself into while you visit. Tuscany Biking Tour

Why: If you’re a fan of No Reservations or just like the idea of traveling to the old country to soak up the Tuscan sun, taste authentic espressos (and lots of wine), cook fresh local foods and tour the old-fashioned villages by bicycle, sign up for this trip right now! Though this excursion is very bike heavy, you don’t have to be a Tour de France hopeful for this trip since all paths are easy terrains on their gorgeous cobblestone roads. Like everything in Tuscany, your itinerary is designed to keep you relaxed by enjoying culinary lessons in a local chef’s country home and attending vineyard tastings while lodging at three unbelievably gorgeous villas around town. By the time you leave you’ll be a food and wine connoisseur ladies’ man! More info.

Amsterdam

Aside from Las Vegas, there is not a naughtier place to spend your singlehood than Amsterdam. Between the red-light district and their notorious “coffee shops,” there is no way you will be able to keep yourself away from explicit adult tomfoolery. Since Amsterdam natives pride themselves on a live-and-let-live vibe, there are not many package tours in or around the city, unless you’re interested in a trip that guides you around Europe. We think your best bet is to map out some vacation hotspots like The Amsterdam Banana Bar and the Moulin Rouge in the red-light district as well as the famous “brown cafés” you’ll only find in Amsterdam, like Café Welling, and go from there. Amsterdam is known to be one of the best locations for singles to travel since striking up a conversation or running into English-speaking tourists is very likely, but introverts will have a hard time meeting others since you have to fend for yourself.

Inca Discovery, Peru

Finding an inclusive vacation that comprises adventure and culture for the single traveler can be pretty difficult. Most places assume that every solo tourist wants to get laid, overload on free drinks and lie on the beach, which is without a doubt really awesome but not always what you’re looking for. If you’re a newbie to hiking or are really itching to travel to an exotic place, visiting the Inca ruins on a guided hiking tour is without a doubt memorable. A company called G Adventures hosts a hiking tour called “Inca Discovery,” a trip designed for an active traveler looking to experience the Inca Trail in a more intimate way by camping for three nights on the trail while enjoying a stunning combination of mountainscapes, cloud forests and jungles on one of the world’s best known hikes. Travelers will trek along the Inca trail for four days and spend time in the neighboring city of Lima and the Sacred Valley shopping in local markets. With such a tight-knit group traveling in such an alien place, you will immediately connect with the rest of your group and hopefully find someone to tent up with on your hike. More info.

Oktoberfest, Munich

If you think about it, Oktoberfest is quite possibly the best place to vacation while single. You don’t have to worry about drunken friends, you never have to take an ugly girl for the team and if you meet up with likeminded people, you won’t have to worry about ditching anyone. If you’re trying to drown your sorrows in an oversized stein or have a thing for drunken beer maids, Oktoberfest is the place to be. If you’re not familiar with the city of Munich, scoring a good place to stay and tickets for all of the festivities can be intimidating. Spyglass Tours has the best tour package we’ve found online which not only sets you up for the entire festival but also has a trip to Brussels and Amsterdam in between so you don’t get too bored with Munich. But fear not, the tour will have you at Oktoberfest during the welcome party and the farewell dinner so you will enjoy the best nights at the festival. If you have a group of guy friends looking for the ultimate vacation, we think this travel package would make the best Euro trip ever since you’re hitting up all of the biggest party places in Europe!
