Playboy magazine is launching a multi-city tour in search of a very special 55th Anniversary Playmate. The fresh-faced winner will appear in the magazine's January 2009 issue and receive a $55,000 modeling contract. Junior Photo Editor and The Girls Next Door star Holly Madison will oversee the nationwide search, for the sexy, sophisticated, all-American girl next door.

Playboy photographers will travel across the U.S., interviewing candidates in each of the following cities:

If you are unable to attend the Playmate Search casting calls, you can submit a recent full-figure photo in a two-piece swimsuit and a head-and-shoulders portrait to Playboy:

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and provide two forms of identification at the time of their interview, one a photo ID that shows date of birth. Polaroids, snapshots, color slides and digital images will be accepted; all submissions will be kept confidential. All photos submitted become property of Playboy and cannot be returned.
