"Anniversary Playmate was a title I hoped for so hard I was staying up nights thinking about it. Hey, Marilyn Monroe did it 40 years earlier -- I was obviously in pretty good company. The coolest thing about being the 40th Anniversary Playmate was that I became the very first Playmate to appear in the Playboy issue launches in Russia, Taiwan, Croatia and the Czech Republic. Back in Holland they even crowned me Playmate of the Year. Unfortunately, over here, an Anniversary Playmate has never been a Playmate of the Year as well. I was hoping that maybe Hef would break that rule, but what the heck -- can't have it all, right? I am honored and excited."
