Samantha tries to seduce her constantly aroused yoga instructor Siddhartha, only to discover that he's been celibate for three years. She invites him to lunch where she entices him with sex, but he explains, from his Zen-like state, that it's like really good foreplay where you're just starting to get aroused. It's built up for three years and has never been released, he says. He's humming with sexual energy. All the talk gets Samantha humming with sexual energy, too. He declines her offer to go to her place by contending, "The only thing hotter than sex is not having sex."
What they're telling us: Tantric celibacy, fueled by a backup of semen, can sexually charge your every nerve ending.
Follow-through: You can achieve this state of spiritual sexual arousal and eliminate carnal distractions through the Hindu practice of Brahmacharya, but it requires a strict diet, a regimen of hatha yoga and, well, celibacy.
