Sex and the City - Sex lessons gleaned from TV's most pro-sex foursome
Playmate Tiffany Selby, Miss July 2007

"My generation is almost completely shaved, so I don't understand the concept of a guy having to shave you. I hate body hair on a guy. I hate chest hair, pubic hair and leg hair. It's not that I like metro guys or pretty boys; I just don't like body hair. I don't like it getting caught in my mouth. Just shave it. Or they have Nair for men now, too."

Samantha's personal trainer joins her in the shower where he selflessly volunteers to shave her legs. Her moans of pleasure encourage him to shave all the way up. He shapes her bush into a lightning bolt. Later, over coffee at Samantha's apartment, Samantha questions guys' obsession with shaving pubic hair. Jaded Miranda suspects it's because they want little girls, but Samantha thinks that it's more like branding, or marking his territory. She adds that there's a thriving cottage industry in pubic hair maintenance. "It says as much about you as your shoes."

What they're telling us:
Personalizing your lover's bush is an adult alternative to marking her with a hickey. And it can make her feel stylish... well-accessorized, even.

Follow-through:
Don't ask her to shave unless you're prepared to do some trimming, too. If she's already shaven, compliment the handiwork.
