Spencer Scott, Playboy’s Miss October 2007, is from Dallas, Georgia. “I’m a small-town girl,” she told Playboy. “I grew up about 40 minutes away from Atlanta. I was homeschooled, so I never had classmates, and I never went to prom—but I was on a competitive cheerleading team, and that’s about as high school as it gets.”
Spencer finished high school at 16. When she was 18 she packed her bags and her chihuahua, Dom, and moved to Los Angeles, where she did some bikini modeling.
How did she catch Playboy’s attention? “I sent my own pictures,” she said. “I came in for a test shoot at Studio West, and three weeks later I was Miss October.” She kept quiet about the shoot, so her friends didn’t find out until they saw the issue on the stands. Everyone was supportive, and she felt like a local celebrity.
Spencer makes her living as a model and actress in L.A. She appeared in the pilot episode for MTV’s Singled Out, an episode of HBO’s Entourage, and played a bikini girl on an episode of CSI. She played herself as Holly Madison’s assistant on The Girls Next Door.
“The entertainment business runs in my family,” said Spencer. “I have two sisters—one is a model and actress, and the other is a film producer. In the long term, my goal is to stay in television and promotional modeling.”
When it comes to guys, Spencer said she doesn’t have a particular “type.” She’s turned on by self-confident guys who make her laugh and are willing to work for it. She’s turned off by guys who are too cocky or have bad hygiene.
