Stephanie Adams, Playboy’s Miss November 1992, was born in Orange, New Jersey. She had two aunts who were models in the 1960s, and with their encouragement Stephanie graduated from the Ophelia DeVore School of Charm and began a modeling career.
In a 1992 interview Stephanie told Playboy her ambitions included becoming a supermodel and a successful actress as well as getting her master’s degree in business. Stephanie earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and founded her own publishing company, Goddessy.
Stephanie came out as a lesbian in a 2003 interview with She magazine, and in 2004 the Village Voice named her the “best lesbian sex symbol.” In 2007 she played herself on a “Lipstick Lesbians” episode of Secret Lives of Women. In 2009, however, she announced that she was marrying a man.
What turns this open-minded woman on? “Italian style, strawberries and cream, big cats, fast cars, Nintendo, kisses, and music.” She’s turned off by “people who lie, and guys who like me just for my looks and not my personality.”
In calmer moments, Stephanie enjoys painting, reading, creative writing, computer programming, modern dancing, tennis, skiing, and traveling. “I like to keep myself busy.”
