It's become a cliché to call a steakhouse "clubby," but this old-school space, awash in oak, brass and leather, might possibly be the manliest 10,500 square feet on earth. Yet Bone's still manages to take pride in the small things -- like the lost art of service. Since 1979, every customer in the old-school room has been treated like royalty, which means if you want your car washed or your shoes shined, consider it done. "Service has gone by the wayside in this country," says partner Richard Lewis. "And we're trying to bring it back." Lewis and his partner Susan DeRose also make sure Bone's emphasizes the big things: impeccably juicy 28-ounce porterhouses; hulking Maine lobsters; an encyclopedic wine list that the servers know better than they know their mothers. The whole operation wears its Southern pride on its sleeve, which means that the menu is also stocked with grit fritters, collard greens and corn pudding. One look around the room, at Atlanta's movers and shakers -- all pampered within an inch of their lives -- and you know this is power dining at its finest.
