1962 250 GTO
Some call the GTO the quintessential Ferrari. It was so shockingly beautiful, it stopped traffic on the highway. Dressed up to race, it won countless checkered flags in the GT class. GTO stands for Gran Turismo Omologato (the latter word meaning "homologate," i.e., approved for GT class racing). Stats: 3.0 liter V12, about 300 horsepower at 7,500 rpm, top speed of nearly 175 mph.
