Suzi Simpson, Playboy’s Miss January 1992, was born in a military hospital in Athens, Greece. Her father was an officer in the Navy, and her mother was a flight attendant. As a teen Suzi competed in and won the Miss District of Columbia Teen USA pageant. She studied dental hygiene in college and graduated cum laude while modeling on the side.
In a 1992 Playboy interview Suzi said, “I wanted to be a Playmate because I love being sexy. It’s a very fun and special part of being a complete woman! But it’s only a part!” After being named Playmate of the Month in January 1992, she appeared in several Playboy videos. Suzi also acted in several music videos, including Aerosmith’s “Love in an Elevator,” and the movies Enemy Gold, St. Elmo’s Fire, Men at Work and Rock Star.
Suzi listed her turn-ons for Playboy: “peppermint-stick ice cream, surfing in the hot summer sun, and great sex anywhere but the bedroom!” Her turnoffs include “bras with seven snaps on the back, toes that hang over the front of sandals, prejudice, and phony people.” How does Suzi describe her ideal man? “Kind, funny, intelligent, sexy, tons of integrity. He’s a manly man who knows I’m his equal and treats me that way.”
Suzi’s biggest secret? “I’m the cousin Bart Simpson never talks about.” Hey, it was the 90s.
