Tamara Witmer, Playboy’s Miss August 2005, was born in Valencia, California. She was raised in Ohio, and moved to Los Angeles at 18 to pursue a career as a model. It was a good move. She was soon featured in Maxim, Stuff, Vanity Fair, and Sports Illustrated, and on the cover of FHM, Muscle and Fitness, and Glamour. In 2005 she appeared in the Lingerie Bowl. Needless to say, Playboy took notice. She came in for a test shoot and landed the centerfold, not to mention the cover of the October 2006 issue.
After her Playboy appearance, Tamara went on to become a reality TV personality. She modeled on Deal or No Deal, competed on VH1’s Rock of Love and I Love Money and was featured on Playboy TV’s Badass and Camp Playboy. She’s also been in music videos for Kid Rock’s “Rock N Roll Jesus” and Eminem’s “The Eminem Show.”
What does a beauty like Tamara look for romantically? She told Playboy she’s turned on by a good heart and a good mind. Her turnoffs include “stinkers and lima beans.” Tamara’s greatest ambition is to leave the world better than she found it. “I’m not a talented actress,” she confessed. “I don’t have a concrete plan. I want to do it my own way.”
